Bali police are investigating whether a man who's wanted over fraud allegations in Australia, faked his own death.
Nine News can also reveal British national and self-proclaimed entrepreneur Ryan Roth has been accused of scamming people in several countries. "We haven't confirmed whether he fell, suicide, or leave the location safe," South Kuta Police Chief Yusak Agustinus Sooai said. "Following a 2008 online fraud report allegedly involving a then aged 27-year-old man, officers from Sydney City Police Area Command conducted an investigation," a spokesperson said.A post on a website for scam victims claims that while Ryan Roth, who allegedly used the alias Ryan Flynn, was in New South Wales he sold a "1970 penny to an elderly woman for some A$8,100, essentially robbing her of her life savings".
