Manchester’s Beyond the Music, the Worldwide Music Expo, Factory International and Co-op Live have all been praised
Manchester has been ranked one of the best European cities to visit as part of a list of the continent’s top destinations but missed out on the top spot which was claimed by London.
According to Bloomberg, the report is “the most comprehensive study of its kind” and identifies cities that are the “most desirable for locals, visitors, and businesspeople alike, rather than simply looking at livability or tourism appeal”. The entry for Manchester praises the city’s growing ‘cultural and creative output’ that it predicts will ‘eclipse anything else going on in the UK or even Europe’ over the next decade.
Aside from the Co-op live, Manchester festivals including Beyond the Music and the Worldwide Music Expo also received praise for keeping the city’s ‘music investment going all year’.
