Earlier this week, Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis revealed that Marsh had sent his teammates a parting message before leaving India: “I’ll be home for a little bit, then I’ll be coming back to win this World Cup.” Australia, currently third on the World Cup standings with ten points, will face Afghanistan at Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday evening, with the first ball scheduled for 7.30pm AEDT.
