US first lady Melania Trump has called out "delusional" and "malicious gossip" after revelations about her life in the White House were published in a book written by a former friend.
She made the comments in a tweet after the release this week of the book Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady by Stephanie Winston Wolkoff. Winston Wolkoff claims to reveal the story of her close friendship with "one of the most famous women in the world" and how it fell apart.According to the New York Times, 49-year-old Winston Wolkoff became friends with Ms Trump in 2003.
They used to have lunch regularly, and Winston Wolkoff attended big events like the Trump wedding and baby shower.Winston Wolkofffor more than a decade before their relationship deteriorated.What does the book claim? In the book, the author claims to bring new details to light about Ms Trump and the Trump family, including the strained relationship between the first lady and her stepdaughter Ivanka Trump.while he took the oath of office so she would not appear in the historic photos.
