An arrest warrant has been issued for a registered sex offender who has failed to comply with his reporting obligations in Victoria.

Kor Beyong, 30, was due to report to police on Friday night after being released from custody on July 15. Assistant Commissioner Chris Gilbert said he was put on the sex offenders registry after committing indecent assault against a young woman near a public transport location in 2011.Victoria Police is appealing for public assistance to help locate registered sex offender Kor Beyong."He does have an extensive criminal history," he said.

Beyong is African, around 170cm tall, of slim build, with black braided hair, which is sometimes dyed yellow or blonde. He has three tattoos on his right arm, including a heart, and a crucifix with a heart. On his left arm is a tattoo of the word 'familiar'.Anyone who sees Beyong should call triple zero immediately.
