A shopping centre in Melbourne’s outer west is emerging as the centre of Victoria’s latest Covid-19 outbreak after it was listed as an exposure site for 10 days.

Shops and cafes in Tarneit West and Williamstown were also among the new additions to the health department’s venue alerts as the number of locations exposed to a confirmed case of the virus ballooned to 189 sites.

At least 14 infections have now been linked to the Caroline Springs Square shopping centre after Covid-19 commander Jeroen Weimer revealed seven of Monday’s 11 new cases were related to the exposure. Five of those seven were household members of a real estate agent, one was a household contact of a worker at the Jolly Miller Cafe and another was a customer at the Spectacle Hub.Source:News Corp Australia
