A group of men who were seen by police ‘loitering’ in a laneway will have to pay nearly $10,000 for the catch up.
Hanging out in laneways may be a Melbourne staple but these men’s expensive catch-up resulted in them now having to cough up $9,912.
Under lockdown Victorians must be in their homes between 9pm and 5am unless they have one of four legitimate reasons to be out: work, medical care, caregiving or an emergency.
