More wet weather is in the forecast from tonight
A yellow weather alert for rain has been issued for West Lothian from tonight as downpours are set to continue into the weekend.
Met Office Chief Meteorologist Neil Armstrong said: “Prolonged heavy rain is expected to cause widespread disruption for much of Scotland. Flooding in areas may cut off road access for some communities, with wet conditions likely to lead to bus, train and ferry delays, possible cancellations, as well as tougher driving conditions. As such, anyone heading outdoors are being urged to be vigilant and plan journeys in advance.
