[updated]After numerous leaks, rumors, and speculation, it's finally been made official: Metal Gear Solid 3 remake is real and it's coming to Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC. The remake was announced during the PlayStation Showcase, without a release date.

Also announced was Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1, which includes the original Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. This collection will release this autumn but platforms other than PS5 have not yet been confirmed.
