Italian tennis star Matteo Berrettini has completed a nearly three-hour match at the Miami Open despite almost fainting during the second set. Just days after French young gun Arthur Cazaux fainted during a qualifying match and spent time in a nearby hospital, the 27-year-old Berrettini briefly suffered with his health in mild weather. The one-time Wimbledon finalist took out the opening set of his first-round contest with Andy Murray before he quickly trailed 2-5 in the second.

Does not seem like temperature and humidity are different than years past.” Berrettini had his blood pressure checked by a doctor and, in somewhat of a surprise, was cleared to resume. He won the next game to love before Murray wrapped up the second set, sending the match into a decider and ensuring it would continue for some time yet.
