Microsoft's long-running $1 Xbox Game Pass trial offer has been stopped, the company has confirmed.
The company was responding to a claim made by the UK’s Competition and Markets Authority that Microsoft could choose to increase the price of its Game Pass subscription plans following the addition of popularMicrosoft responded: “Game Pass prices will not increase as a result of the Merger, and certainly will not increase to a point that offsets the substantial benefits of Activision titles coming to Game Pass on a day and date basis.
The company has also been slowly rolling out its new Xbox Game Pass Friends & Family plan, which lets up to five players share Game Pass benefits for a discounted price.
