Former rugby union star Mike Tindall has shared his positive experience of becoming part of the British royal family, in a way that is very different to Meghan Markle’s portrayal of her experience in the firm.

After dating for eight years, the couple married on July 30, 2011, at Canongate Kirk on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile, marking Tindall’s formal entrance into the royal family. Now retired from rugby, Tindall hosts a popular podcast alongside James Haskell and Alex Payne, and is set to release a new book, titled: The Good, the Bad, and the Rugby: Unleashed.
He noted: “Believe it or not, marrying into the Royal Family was pretty easy for me. They were always nice to me, and I was always nice to them. Simple really.”The former actress, who married Prince Harry in 2018, has been open about the challenges she faced transitioning into royal life. During the interview, Markle alleged that members of the royal family had concerns about the skin colour of her then-unborn son.
