Mike Tindall, known for his lighthearted nature, gives a glimpse into his family life with wife Zara and their children. He reveals the playful pranks he enjoys pulling on his family, reminisces about his childhood, and emphasizes the importance of setting a good example for his kids. This follows a perceived subtle swipe at Meghan Markle, highlighting Tindall's relaxed approach to royal life compared to some other family members.
Mike Tindall offered royal fans a glimpse into his family life after seemingly taking a subtle jab at Meghan Markle . Known for his jovial nature, Tindall's playfulness extends to his home life with wife Zara and their three children. Appearing as the latest celebrity guest editor of British comic Beano , Tindall revealed the cheeky pranks his kids, Mia (11), Lena (6), and Lucas (3), love to play on unsuspecting guests. 'My job now is being a dad, and I love it.
It's important to set a good example, so I play pranks on the kids and their mum,' he wrote in the special edition's editor's letter. The 46-year-old also reminisced about his childhood in the Yorkshire town of Otley, a stark contrast to his wife Zara's royal upbringing as Princess Anne's daughter.'When I was your age, I lived in the country. I was outside all day, riding bikes, jumping off hay bales, exploring the woods - anything to annoy farmers! I was always getting chased!' he wrote. The special edition commemorates the 45th anniversary of Beano character Bananaman, with Tindall appearing in cartoon form on the front cover - hoisted into the air by the superhero while holding a birthday cake. In his editor's letter, the former England rugby captain also encouraged children to embrace sport, believe in themselves, and always give their best effort. Tindall, who co-hosts the popular podcast The Good, the Bad & the Rugby, also released a book of the same name last October. A Buckingham Palace insider corroborated his account, telling The Times: 'While some family members can be very 'royal', Mike is just himself and is relaxed.' This comes after the Duchess of Sussex, since marrying Prince Harry in 2018, has spoken openly about the challenges of integrating into the royal family, particularly in her 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey.
