It's a human rights issue, it's not an abortion issue to me," he said. Earlier this month, Mr Katter had indicated his party would move to repeal or amend termination of pregnancy laws, which led to pressure on Mr Crisafulli over whether he would allow his MPs a conscience vote on the KAP's bill.

"Well this doesn't address the real question. The real question is why is David Crisafulli hiding what he believes when it comes to a woman's right to choose," Mr Miles said."I asked with one of my questions at the last debate what his position is, and he refuses to answer it, and that is the real problem here."
