There's been a $1 million silver heist somewhere between Sydney and Melbourne, with almost 200 bars vanishing. Police are now calling on the public for help. They want to hear about anyone offering to sell large amounts of the precious metal. 7NEWS
One million dollars’ worth of silver bullion has mysteriously disappeared somewhere on the road between Sydney and Melbourne and police are investigating if somebody with inside knowledge is behind the brazen heist.
The haul would have weighed 960kg, just short of a metric tonne and was being transported by a Kenworth truck and silver Krueger trailer.
