He said he broke his phone on the first night and he and Mr Higgins knew where they were, but the tide and currents threw them off.
"I dropped my phone on the first night. I fell in the drink with it in my pocket off the wharf, we went down there - my phone was broken the whole way through."Derek Robinson and Tony Higgins have been found alive after nearly a week missing at sea off the South Australian coast. The two men were found floating somewhere around Salt Creek, which is to the south-east of Goolwa where they were initially heading to, before experiencing engine trouble.
Worried family and friends had been waiting at Victor Harbor, desperately waiting to see the men they feared they'd never see again.in a boat named "Margrel" around 3pm last Thursday.
