Missoni's MilanFashionWeek show, in watercolor
Illustration: Samantha Hahn At her spring/summer 2020 show in Milan this past weekend, Angela Missoni deployed her signature knits to great effect, with every pattern imaginable incorporated into her designs.
The highly wearable pieces were, for the most part, muted purples and browns, plus some standout radiant teal numbers. Silk scarves did triple duty as belts, neckerchiefs, and basket-handle accessorizing à la Jane Birkin, whose wardrobe swapping with Serge Gainsbourg inspired the presentation.
