Residents in Morecambe are set to have their water supplied restored with the area 'last to come back on' pinpointed
In an update this morning , the water supply company said they made 'good progress' after teams worked through the night. They said customers will 'continue to see supply return to their taps gradually as our water pipes refill'.Local councillor Lizzi Collinge posted an update at 10.30am today saying that while water is coming back into the Morecambe system, it is 'slow and will take a while to get back to full pressure'.
"You may experience some discolouration to your water, this is due to the disturbance on our network of pipes and should clear after a short time. Please take a look at our discoloured water page for more information.
