His body was found in rough terrain near his last known location, with authorities confirming his injuries are consistent with falling from a cliff. Mr Slater's body was found in the “very inaccessible area” on Monday morning by a Civil Guard Mountain rescue group. Spain's Civil Guard released a statement earlier this week, revealing the teenager’s injuries indicate he suffered an accident or fall in the area where he was found.
