The kids at St Brendan’s and Muirhouse Primary Schools were out bright and early with their signs and posters to protest at drivers going by their schools with the aim of cutting air pollution around the local area.

Pupils at two Motherwell primaries have joined together in a bid to breath more clean air around their school.

St Brendan’s Primary teacher Nicole Fleming added: “The turn out for the protest was incredible. The support from pupils and family was amazing.
