A Maryland man died in an overnight Friday motorcycle crash in Adams County, Pennsylvania State Police said.
The 41-year-old Taneytown man, whose name has not been released, was speeding when he crashed around 12:39 a.m. on the 900 block of the Frederick Pike in Germany Township, according to state police. State police said the motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve and veered off the road, into a mailbox and telephone pole.
Littlestown police were following the motorcycle and saw the crash, according to state police. The motorcycle’s exact speed was not provided in a Friday news release.
