A NSW mother has died after she collapsed during an F45 class in the state’s Riverina region. Lumepa Amiatu Laweloa, a mum of four, collapsed “unexpectedly and suddenly” during a class in Griffith on Monday. F45 coach Andrew Gamble, a friend of Laweloa, revealed the news through a GoFund Me page. “This was very unexpected to all who were in attendance, as members helped with their quick response as I noticed Lumepa was on the floor which we knew didn’t look or feel right,” he wrote.

Laweloa is also survived by her other children, aged 15 and 10. As the Griffith community mourns Laweloa’s passing, her football team the Yenda Blueheelers RLFC shared a touching tribute on Facebook. “It is with a heavy heart that we write this post with the passing of Lumepa Amiatu Laweloa,” they wrote on Tuesday. “Mepa was a valuable player with Yenda League tag for many years and was always such a happy positive person who always got around the younger girls with great advice.
