The death of a 30-year-old woman in a house fire is being treated as a murder, WA Police have revealed.
Police have launched a homicide investigation after the body of a woman was found in a house fire , which also left a young girl and a man suffering smoke inhalation.The woman’s body was found in a bedroom, police said.
A 35-year-old man and a three-year-old girl were taken to Rockingham Hospital by ambulance after suffering from smoke inhalation.Arson Squad detectives attended the scene and began working with Department of Fire and Emergency Services fire investigators to determine the cause of the blaze.Acting Detective Superintendent David Gorton told reporters there was minimal fire damage to the house.“At this point in time, we are treating it as a murder.
