A homicide investigation is under way in North Queensland after a mother's body was found in bushland off a rural road.
The 44-year-old woman's body was discovered close to a popular fishing spot by a group of teens on bikes late yesterday afternoon in the seaside suburb of Bluewater, near Townsville.A group of teenagers discovered the 44-year-old's body near Jaloonda Road in Bluewater. "They found the body of a woman laying on the track," Queensland Police Service Detective Inspector Jason Shepherd said."It appears that she would have known who her attacker was. They probably went to that location together."A homicide investigation is underway in North Queensland after a mother's body was found in bushland off a rural road."You can imagine they'd be pretty traumatised by it," Shepherd said.
