However, one future bride's approach to her nuptials was anything but ordinary after she discovered her sister 's desire to be the first to walk down the aisle to savour the experience. In a candid Reddit post, she detailed how she grew up in the shadow of her sister, who was always considered the 'favourite' by their parents.
Knowing they'd likely 'put their foot in it', she left the room and left her fiancé with her parents to make the arrangements. 'After some grumbling about not being okay with him, my judgment, etc, they proclaimed they were willing to pay for my wedding... on one condition,' she said. 'My sister would walk down the aisle on my wedding first in a wedding dress.
