The packaged ashes were found on a bus in Rockingham, about 50km south west of Perth CBD, on February 24.The lid of the container is inscribed with the dates “24th/4th/77 – 29th/4th/23”, suggesting the deceased person would have been 46 years old when they died last year.Various other scribbles also appear on the container’s lid.Rockingham police shared a post on X advising family members to come forward to collect their loved one’s remains.
A controversial toll road has been blasted at an inquiry, with a local mayor saying the community has been given a “tunnel to a traffic jam”.Residents of one state have been given a free pass to stay home from work as major disruptions are expected on transport networks.
