A cereal nut secured an apology from Nestlé - because his Shreddies ended up 'soggy'. Self-confessed 'breakfast cereal aficionado' Steve Perrin was gutted when his morning meal turned to mush.

I put the milk in and went to pop the kettle on to make a cup of tea.

"It was just quite a surprise that it is something that they are quite proud of. I took some photos of what had happened. I did end up eating the cereal because I didn't want to waste it.
