Food supplies have been dropped from military planes into parts of Gaza but are making only a small impact due to the number of civilians impacted. Including the exchange is a deadline for Israel to withdraw from Gaza and the release of all detainees from both sides in a second stage plan, Reuters reported.Senior Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri told Reuters the Israeli PM's dismissal of the proposal showed he was “determined to pursue the aggression against our people and undermine all efforts exerted to reach a ceasefire agreement”.
