New BMW M2 Teased Ahead Of Expected Debut On October 11 | Carscoops carscoops
Our spy photographers have snapped a multitude of M2s testing in recent months and the car featured in this teaser is one of those camouflaged prototypes. However, this doesn’t appear to be an entry-level version of the sports car.
As expected, BMW looks to have developed a series of M Performance Parts for the car and this prototype is rocking some of them. The most obvious accessory fitted is the large fixed rear wing that will help to ensure the car cannot be mistaken for a standard 2-Series Coupe. In addition, we can see that this prototype has a similar stacked central quad exhaust system as is available for the M4 through the M Performance Parts division.
The original M2 remains one of the finest sports cars released in the last decade so the pressure will be on BMW to ensure that the new model is even better.
