New details have emerged in the case of a missing woman who disappeared from Sydney last October. Kathleen Riethmuller, who is originally from Brisbane, was reported missing after last being seen on October 28. 7NEWS
Now, police have issued a fresh appeal for information into Kathleen’s whereabouts.The 28-year-old’s family hold serious concerns for her welfare after her backpack was found by a road in Sydney’s north.“The ripple effect that occurs when a person goes missing without reason or without a trace shouldn’t be underestimated,” Deputy Premier and Minister for Police Paul Toole said.
Missing Persons Registry manager Detective Chief Inspector Glen Browne added that police were heavily reliant on new information to find Kathleen and urged the community to come forward with any information they may have. “Investigators strongly suspect Kathleen may be alive and possibly living interstate, and any information to that effect would be very helpful to police.”
Kathleen is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm – 175cm tall, of thin build, with long dark hair.
