Authorities say the driver was infectious in Queensland for just one day, arriving in the state on August 25 and returning to NSW on August 26.The BP service station on Boundary Road, Archerfield, Brisbane has been identified as a close contact exposure site after a positive NSW truck driver visited.
Anyone who visited the BP service station and surrounding outdoor area on the corner of Randolph Street and Boundary Road in Archerfield, Brisbane, on Thursday August 25 between 8.50am and 11.10am is considered a casual contact and should monitor for symptoms and get tested immediately if any develop.
Anyone who visited the same BP service station's indoor area on Friday, August 26 between 10am and 10.40am is considered a close contact and should get tested immediately and self-isolate until a negative test is returned.Anyone who visited the truck stop amenities or dining area of the truck stop at the BP service station at 11/11 Cunningham Highway, Goondiwindi between 5.30pm and 6.
Queensland currently has 23 active cases of coronavirus, with one confirmed today in a returned overseas traveller.
