Newcastle had advised supporters to avoid certain areas around the San Siro ahead of Tuesday night’s match with local authorities also confirming there is a strict ban on drinking alcohol on the streets. Travelling supporters were also told to be “vigilant” and to “take sensible precautions” in the city with street crime and pickpocketing prevalent.
