Newport man enters race for Perry County commissioner

Frank Campbell will seek one of the Republican Party's nominations this spring.

Retired small business owner Frank Campbell announced Friday he will seek a Republican nomination for Perry County Commissioner.

“I am committed to maintaining Perry County’s rural character, promoting our natural resources, and supporting our business community. Each party gets to nominate two candidates for county commissioner; in the general election the toop three vote-getters go on to serve. His replacement, Larry Reisinger, has stated that he is only interested in filling out Eby’s unexpired term and will not be running for a new term in 2023.
