Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has gained a considerable amount of ground over Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, according to the latest Newspoll. In the first major poll since the Voice referendum was defeated, the Coalition now leads Labor on the primary vote.

In the first major poll since the Voice referendum was defeated, the Coalition now leads Labor on the primary vote. The poll reports the primary vote for the Coalition is at 37 per cent whilst Labor trails behind now at 35 per cent. On two-party preferred voting the Coalition has also tightened the gap at 48 per cent, coming in close to Labor’s 52 per cent.
