Well that was a brief romance. Nicolas Cage has filed for an annulment less than a week after embarking upon his fourth marriage.
Entertainment TonightThe court record also shows that the 55-year-old actor has requested a divorce if an annulment isn’t possible.According to the news outlet, the former couple — who started dating last April — applied for a marriage license and tied the knot on Saturday in Las Vegas.Cage’s annulment request comes as footage of the actor’s bizarre behaviour while applying for a marriage license in Las Vegas surfaced online.
This is Cage’s fourth marriage. He previously was married to Patricia Arquette from 1995 with the couple divorcing in 2001.Cage first proposed marriage to Arquette when she was 18. She said no at the time but proposed to the actor nine years later. “There were times when we weren’t living together because we were fighting, but it wasn’t as reported and I didn’t feel that I needed to explain that. There were times when my mum was dying and I was living with her, taking care of her,” she said.
