Mr Rickard told Seven News he knew his father was guilty when he fronted cameras not far from the family home at Avondale Heights in the days after Ms Ristevski disappeared. Asked what he thought when Borce carried Ms Ristevski’s coffin at her funeral, Mr Rickard replied: “You can’t get much lower than that.”
The suggestion is that Ristevski opted out of a trial to spare his daughter Sarah, now 23, the agony of hearing her estranged brother reveal sordid details of his alleged affair with her mother.
