Nigeria's President has condemned extremists linked to the Islamic State group after a video circulated of 11 hostages, most of them Christians, being murdered.The extremists pledged allegiance to Islamic State after splitting from the Boko Haram insurgencyThey were thought to have been killed on Christmas Day. The video was circulated on Thursday.
The extremist group, which calls itself the Islamic State West Africa Province, said the captives were killed as revenge for the killing of IS group leaders in Iraq and Syria in October.
