Picture: Getty Images The Murugappan family were late last month given permission to return to Biloela by then Interim Home Affairs Minister Jim Chalmers. A petition to allow the family to stay in Australia, organised by Home to Bilo spokesperson Angela Fredericks, received almost 600,000 signatures.
