Tony Abbott has refused to defend embattled former prime minister Scott Morrison and has welcomed the Albanese Government’s incoming inquiry.

“In the end what you rely upon from heads of government and ministers … is good sensible behaviour,” he said. “I would expect that any credible processes would also extend to the actions of the States and Territories,” he continued.
