Latrell Mitchell and Jack Wighton have both avoided suspension for their respective charges in a fiery Good Friday contest between the Rabbitohs and Bulldogs.

Latrell Mitchell and Jack Wighton have learnt their fate over their respective charges that came during a fiery Good Friday contest.

However, the Bulldogs’ Kurtis Morrin didn’t escape suspension after he was hit with a minimum two game ban for an ugly lifting tackle on Bunnies captain Cameron Murray.Addo-Carr was charging down the left wing but was tackled out of the field by centre Isaiah Tass before Mitchell entered the tackle. “Addo-Carr only now on his feet after he was crunched in a tackle... there was some very heavy contact from the hip of Latrell Mitchell, all in the act of scoring,” Yvonne Sampson said.

Should Mitchell appeal the charge, he could be fined $2500 if found guilty by the match review committee.pundit Corey Parker explained his tackle could be considered “careless”.
