NRLW: The NRLW has announced their own standalone Magic Round to be held in Newcastle during the 2025 season.
NRLW weapon Tamika Upton has reportedly signed a three-year deal with the Broncos, snubbing the Cowboys and Titans in a three-way race for her signature.
It comes after the 27-year-old was granted an immediate release from her contract with the Knights on compassionate grounds, with three years remaining on that deal. However, the No.1 reportedly called Gold Coast coach Karyn Murphy on Wednesday to inform her of the decision she’d made to sign with the Broncos.
She also won the 2022 and 2023 Karyn Murphy medals whilst also being crowned the Dally M Medallist in 2023.In a statement after he release from the Knights, Upton said: “The Newcastle Knights will always have a special place in my heart.
