Richard Shields, the NSW Liberal party state director, announced Taylor Martin's expulsion from the party in a statement but did not detail the nature of the allegations against Martin.
NSW state Liberal politician Taylor Martin has been expelled from the party following an investigation into a complaint, believed to have been from a former federal MP.
"The NSW Liberal Party has received the independent investigation report concerning a confidential complaint against the Hon Taylor Martin MLC," the statement began. "The NSW Liberal Party expects the highest standards of behaviour of its members and elected representatives and will continue to strive to ensure those standards are consistently upheld."
Martin, who has been a member of the Upper House for the Hunter and Central Coast region since 2017, is yet to publicly comment on the expulsion or report findings.
