Liberal Party is promising to waive minor traffic fines for drivers with a clean three-year record if it retains government at this year's state election.

Under the plan, drivers would be able to apply to have a fine for "low-level offences", which includes speeding offences under 10km/h and driving in a bus lane, waived from April 3.READ MORE:School zone, heavy vehicle, red light, mobile phone and speeding offences above 10km/h will not be eligible under the government's scheme, given the serious safety risks involved.
