NSW Police have established a strike force of 22 detectives to track down those who participated in an unauthorised anti-lockdown protest in Sydney’s CBD.
Thousands ignored restrictions and took to the streets – marching from Broadway to Town Hall on Saturday afternoon.
In Sydney around 400 police officers issued at least 90 infringements and charged 57 people and the police minister labelled demonstrators “selfish boofheads”.
