Five Dock, North Burwood and North Strathfield have been confirmed as stops on the new line.

New railway stations will be created at Five Dock, North Burwood and North Strathfield as part of the promised Metro West rail line, which the Berejiklian government has committed to beginning next year if the Coalition wins the upcoming election.

Entirely new stations are expected to be built for the new line, even in suburbs with existing stations. He said the underground nature of the line meant that property acquisition would be kept at a minimum.
