NT Police are investigating a fatal crash that killed a male pedestrian in Alice Springs on Sunday morning as well as a hit-and-run incident in Katherine on Saturday.

"A silver SUV station wagon was travelling south along Telegraph Terrace which struck a pedestrian," NT Police said.Police said the driver of the vehicle was not injured and was assisting the investigation. NT Police requested anyone with information, including CCTV or dashcam footage, to contact them on 131 444 and quote reference P24253735.In a separate road incident over the weekend, NT Police said a driver deliberately struck a man walking across a road in Katherine on Saturday morning and fled the scene.The hit and-run-resulted in the 31-year-old pedestrian being taken to Katherine Hospital and then transferred to Royal Darwin Hospital for treatment, police said.
