Nuix boss Jonathan Rubinsztein has acknowledged the depressed stock price could make it an attractive acquisition target once its legal woes wind up.

“We are definitely a very attractive acquisition target from a share price point of view, for sure we are very cheap,” Mr Rubinsztein, who has been in the top job for just over six months, said.

Last September, Nuix bought Topos Labs, a US-based natural language processing software company for an undisclosed sum. On Thursday, Nuix confirmed it ended the financial year with $46.8 million in cash., Mr Rubinsztein hasn’t ruled out any further merger or acquisition activity.A,” he said. “But the results definitely aren’t where we want them to be so the main thing is to get the business back to sustainable, organic growth.
