Listening to Nvidia founder and CEO Jensen Huang on the company’s September quarter earnings call on Wednesday, you get a sense of the scale of the artificial intelligence revolution that’s coming. “Generative AI is the largest TAM expansion of software and hardware that we’ve seen in several decades,” he said. “It’s changed almost everything.”Including the AI chipmaker’s share price, which has more than tripled this year.
Wednesday’s results helped explain why;, and guidance for the December quarter was for revenue of $US20 billion ($31 billion), well above the market’s expectations for revenue of $US17 billion.
