Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese says older Australians deserve “dignity and respect” concerning current issues in the aged care industry and nursing workforce.
Mr Albanese said the priority is to address the leaving workers from the aged care and nursing industry, pointing to Labor’s five-point plan in response to the Royal
Commission findings.“The question is, do older Australians deserve dignity and respect in their later years? My answer to that is, yes. And I’m determined to make sure we deliver it.”
