In addition to the man's death, the period from February 7 to 13 saw three coastal drownings on the Central Coast, one on the North Coast, one on Sydney's Northern Beaches, and one on the Far South Coast.The coastal drowning toll for the period dating from July 1, now sits at 35."This has been one of our worst summers on record and while the holiday period may have ended, we are still seeing huge beach visitation numbers," Pearce said.
